Kings Meadow School is part of the Creating Tomorrow Partnership, a multi-academy trust of special schools and colleges based in Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Luton.

Creating Tomorrow Partnership is a multi-academy trust of schools and colleges for children and young adults with SEND in Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Luton.

Founded in 2017 initially as a trust of two schools (Isebrook and Wren Spinney), we currently comprise six schools and a college, which has three campuses. We have come together to make sure all children have the opportunity to succeed, irrespective of their learning needs.

At Creating Tomorrow, we live our mission and values every day. We celebrate differences as strengths and are committed to transforming the outcomes for young people with SEND.  We believe that every child, regardless of their cognition, social, emotional or physical abilities, should be able to fulfil their potential and build the skills and confidence to succeed in a changing world.

We place an emphasis on the individual to make sure that everything we do is done with a focus on supporting and maximising opportunities.

Focusing exclusively on SEND education, we cover primary, secondary, sixth form and 18-25, and support young people with a wide range of needs across a range of needs including cognition and learning difficulties (from profound and multiple to moderate learning difficulties), and Social Emotional Mental Health difficulties. A large number of our learners have additional needs such as sensory or physical difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and speech language and communication needs.

Our Values

We have three core values, which are woven into everything we do:

  • Respect
  • Inclusion
  • Community

Our Vision

The trustees have a clear vision for education in our schools:

  • To create a learning journey from 0 to 25, for all children and young people.
  • For every child to become confident, capable, resilient, aspirational members of their communities.
  • All learners will be challenged to be:
    o Responsible Citizens
    o Successful Learners
    o Confident Individuals
  • To develop an effective learning community that provides an excellent education for our pupils through highly effective collaboration based upon mutual support and challenge, across special and mainstream schools.
